About Us

"MOMS Offering Moms Support."  That is the slogan of the International MOMS Club and at the heart of everything we do.

The MOMS Club of East Nashville, TN was formed in the summer of 2008 to provide camaraderie during the daytime for mothers who stay home with their children (at some point during the daytime, but not necessarily full-time).  Then, in the summer of 2011, due to incredible growth, the club 'sistered' into three distinct chapters.  They are: The MOMS Club of East Nashville - Lockeland, The MOMS Club of East Nashville - Inglewood (also covering Fortland Farms and Rosebank area) and The MOMS Club of East Nashville - Eastwood (also covering all areas west of Gallatin in 37206 and 37207).

We are not just limited to mothers of children who are younger that school age, but think of our club as a place for mothers to be connected and involved with a community of moms, no matter the age of their children.  We hope that MOMS Club will never be something that you feel you have to 'outgrow'.

We are a collection of local chapters of the International MOMS Club.  For more information about the International MOMS Club and how it began, visit the International Website.

We plan about 3-4 group-wide activities per week, sometimes out in the community, but many times in our homes (brunches, pizza-making, movie days, etc.)  Your child(ren) are always welcome with you at our events (which are sometimes geared towards the kids, and sometimes the moms).  We have several playgroups organized by children's ages that meet once a week in members' homes or out at a child-friendly community location.  Finally, we have a very popular Mom's Night Out each month, with activities ranging from sampling restaurants to quiet in-home dessert nights to rock climbing!  For more details, check out our Activities page.

Our monthly "business" meeting is at 10 am on the first Friday of each month.  At our monthly meetings, members discuss and vote on upcoming projects and activities.  However, these meetings are also an excellent opportunity for newcomers to learn more about the MOMS Club and meet many of our members.  We provide refreshments and childcare at our meetings and often stay afterward to play in the gymnasium or on the playground.  Please go to the contact page for and email us for the location.  In the interest of children's safety, we currently keep this information, as well as our monthly calendar, off of the public internet, but are happy to get you connected when you contact us.

Finally, we are not just a fun club for moms and their children, but a service organization, committed to supporting mothers and children in our community.  To that end, we perform at least one service project per year help children and families in the community, but often many more!
